barnwell housing estate, HANSFIELD, ONGAR

The project comprised an infill development within the existing Barnwell Estate in Ongar and a new development to the east and south of Barnwell Estate comprising 828 no. residential units (498 no. houses and 330 no. apartments). The site was part of the Hansfield Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). Dwellings are a mixture of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, and apartments, all of which achieved a BER "A" rating.

Services included a full remit of civil & structural engineering services relating to a greenfield site including full site development works, site services, traffic engineering, etc. We also prepared the Bill of Quantities for the civil works on this project.

• Production of Taking in Charge Documentation for TIC purposes to the council.
