BEAUMONT LODGE TCU, KILMORE, DUBLIN 5

Completed in 2020, Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit (TCU) is currently the largest nursing home / transitional care unit in Ireland, with 221 no. bedrooms, each containing an ensuite bathroom. The TCU was built to an ultra-modern specification, using standard construction with strip foundations and load-bearing masonry walls.

The TCU building contains large open plan areas and 3-storey overhanging areas that are supported on concrete beams and columns. Large ‘Winter Garden’ Balconies were constructed on each floor with steel beams and column and a concrete-profiled metal deck. The development also involved the provision of 83 no. car parking spaces along with motorcycle and bicycle parking.
