RIALTO PRIMARY CARE CENTRE, DUBLIN 8

This project involved the demolition of the existing buildings at no. 379 and 383 South Circular Road, Rialto, Dublin 8, and the construction of a new 3-storey Primary Care Centre to serve the local residents of Rialto. The centre houses a GP Clinic and HSE Primary Care Team with associated shared circulation. There is also a Pharmacy at street level.

A large glazed atrium on the public elevation, imagined as a secure continuation of the streetscape, denotes the entrance of the Centre and creates a pleasant and welcoming environment for incoming patients. An external void in the centre of the building delivers natural light and fresh air to the central accommodation.
