32 Molesworth Street has been named Commercial/Office Building of the Year at the Irish Building/Design Awards 2017.
The Building has attained LEED Accreditation Gold.
Four storey office development above a single storey basement.
The frame of this building is a reinforced concrete flat slab frame with a maximum clear span of 9m allow for clear and unobstructed office space.
The building is located in a confined existing brownfield site in the city centre location. The building occupies the full width of the site between existing buildings and connections through to the rear of No. 32 Molesworth St. which is a listed building.
Full traffic management proposals, noise and vibration control performance specifications and loading/ unloading proposals were produced in detail following careful consideration of the buildability of this project within reasonable cost. Construction works needed planning giving due consideration to LUAS works ongoing in close proximity to the site.
