9-12 Dawson Street is the full restoration and extension of 3 existing protected structures with 3 separate glazed façades, above an existing single storey basement. This will provide Grade A office space over 7 floors with ground floor restaurant.

The existing 6731.1 sq.m area is being upgraded and extended to 9207.8 sq.m through the addition of 2 additional set-back floors and reconfiguration of the existing structure. Mini-piles will form the foundations to support the upgraded structure, provided for in the existing basement.

The building is located in a constricted city centre location which presented unique engineering challenges, particularly with respect to conducting site investigations.  A sustainable part “green roof” will also feature on top of the additional new floors.
