The development of Chatham & King involved the demolition of existing three-storey buildings on the Chatham Street site and the construction of a five-storey building totalling 6,208 m². CS Consulting was also involved in the fit-out works of the retail units which are now let to prominent luxury retailers including Cartier, Tudor, TAG Heuer, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The development includes a two-storey basement, formed with perimeter secant piles tied through a capping beam into reinforced concrete basement liner walls. The basement slabs and internal walls are reinforced concrete. The superstructure from ground floor to roof is a steel frame with castellated beam and composite concrete and profiled metal deck flooring.

The building joins into the existing retail / office building on at One Clarendon Row which was constructed with ‘soft spots’ to allow for the integration of the two. The existing stair and lift core will provide vertical circulation for the new building. The surface water attenuation storage was also originally sized to cater for the proposed Chatham & King redevelopment.
