Client: Land Development Agency

Number of Units: 147

Sector: Social and Affordable Housing (Apartments)

The Anglesea Terrace development has officially received the "green light," with Cork City Council granting Part 8 planning permission in February 2026. This landmark project, a partnership between the Land Development Agency (LDA) and the Council, is set to transform the junction of Old Station Road and South Link Road into a vibrant residential hub. The approved 16-story scheme will deliver 147 high-quality homes (72 one-bed and 75 two-bed apartments) primarily designated for cost-rental and social housing.

Designed as a car-free development to promote sustainable urban living, the site features extensive bicycle parking and enhanced pedestrian links, taking full advantage of its proximity to Kent Station and Cork Bus Station. Residents will also enjoy premium amenities including a landscaped courtyard, a rooftop terrace, and a gated linear park.
