Our Commitment to Sustainability
At CS Consulting, sustainability is at the heart of our work. We strive to design and deliver engineering solutions that minimise environmental impact, enhance energy efficiency, and contribute to resilient communities.
Our projects have consistently achieved leading sustainability standards, including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building), A-Level Building Energy Ratings (BER), and other internationally recognised certifications. These recognitions highlight our dedication to creating developments that meet today’s needs while safeguarding resources for future generations.
Our approach is further strengthened by our independent international certifications:

Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)
Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) represent innovative building approaches that prioritise efficiency, quality and sustainability. MMC techniques such as off-site prefabrication, modular construction and advanced materials help reduce waste, shorten construction timelines and lower carbon footprints. As a key element of sustainable construction, MMC enables greener, more resource-efficient projects.
At CS Consulting, we integrate MMC into our projects to deliver smarter, greener and more cost-effective solutions. By combining sustainable design principles with modern construction methods, we ensure projects that not only meet regulatory standards but also set benchmarks for environmental responsibility.

St. Flannan's College
The 2,500 sqm expansion of St. Flannan’s College in Ennis is a rapid-build prototype backed by the Department of Education.
CS Consulting provided civil and structural engineering services for this innovative project, which uses off -site prefabricated 3D mass timber modules by Lidan Designs. We are also supporting Lidan in achieving agrément certification for this innovative system.
O'Devaney Gardens
The redevelopment of the former O'Devaney Gardens in Dublin 7 is delivering over 1,000 A-rated social, affordable, cost rental, and private homes across four phases.
A key feature of the development is the use of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), with off-site precast concrete frames that significantly reduce waste and traffic while enhancing sustainability.
