The Innovation Square development, led by South Dublin County Council, comprises 133 affordable rental apartments (1-, 2-, and 3-beds) across two blocks, ranging from six to eight storeys. The development features a community facility of approximately 11,430 m² and is linked by a single-storey podium. The podium contains 39 car parking spaces (including 3 universal access spaces) and 246 bicycle spaces. Each apartment has associated balconies or terraces, and the development incorporates roof-mounted solar panels to enhance sustainability.

The foundations are CFA piles on in-situ pile caps and ground beams. The carpark and habitable areas have an in-situ suspended ground floor slab. The roof slab for the attenuation tank is a precast slab with structural screed, while localized areas use reinforced concrete slabs. The superstructure consists of hollowcore slabs with screed supported by steel beams, reinforced concrete walls, and columns.

The development includes sustainable features such as roof-mounted solar panels and energy-efficient construction practices, contributing to the long-term stability and energy performance of the apartments.
