The Clane Town Centre First Plan presents a forward-looking vision for the town and incorporates a number of tailored projects which have emerged from opportunities identified through the public consultation process and detailed analysis. These projects focus on improving the arrival experience to Clane, making the most of natural and heritage assets, improving sustainable mobility opportunities and enhancing streets and spaces, so that Clane is an attractive place to live, work and do business. Our Team carried out a high level traffic & transport review of Clane, identifying key opportunities for improvement through public consultation and desktop studies, providing detailed strategies to improve sustainable access, connectivity, and permeability, including traffic and parking management ideas.

We provided sustainable solutions to make Clane a connected and accessible town centre. This included enhancing connectivity and reducing walking distances, implementing effective traffic management strategies to reduce the impact of traffic, achieving a better balance between public space and parking, enhancing services, facilities and signage to promote sustainable movement, and creating an accessible and inclusive streetscape.The houses are timber frame constructions designed for high energy efficiency.The project included full site development works and traffic engineering. The houses were designed for energy efficiency, achieving "A" BER ratings.
