CS Consulting have worked with the O'Callaghan Collection to complete many minor upgrade projects at the historic Davenport Hotel. Most recently we worked to develop a new spa withing the basement of the building which contains 3 pools, a 12.5m lap pool, a vitality pool and a chilly plunge pool with water at a cool 12 °C. It also features a steam room and a salt sauna.

Our Team designed and installed the pools below the existing basement, between existing foundations, all while keeping the hotel live and operation, maintaining it's structural integrity while the works were carried out.

This was a challenging development for many reasons. Extensive investigation work was required to locate existing foundations and manage waterproofing requirements give the high ground water table.
