This project involved the design, construction, and fit-out of Icicle’s first Irish retail store at 114 Grafton Street, a protected structure. CS Consulting provided civil and structural services for the upgrade.

Works included removing escalators, adjusting floor levels, fire upgrades, and waterproofing the flood-prone basement. The fit-out followed Icicle’s international design standards while preserving the building’s historical features.

Challenges included roof and façade leaks, as well as complex site logistics due to the store’s location on the Luas line, requiring escalators to be cut and removed in sections.
