Northwood Nursing Home is a four-storey, 118-bed facility located in the Northwood Estate in Santry, Dublin 9. The nursing home primarily offers single ensuite rooms, with a few double rooms, and provides services such as residential care, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), respite, convalescence, and day care.

The building features a four-storey masonry frame with localised steelwork. Precast floor slabs are supported by a ground-floor reinforced concrete transfer slab over an in-situ reinforced concrete basement car park with pad foundations. The development meets modern standards with a focus on providing healthcare services in a safe and secure environment.

This development utilised BIM Level 1, which enhanced collaboration, reduced design conflicts, and improved overall project efficiency through precise drafting and data integration.
