This project involved the design of a new prefabricated, steel-frame School of Medicine building located within the University Maternity Hospital Campus in Limerick. CS Consulting delivered all civil and traffic designs to secure planning permission, developed substructure designs, and prepared an outline specification for a design-and-build prefabricated building. The scheme incorporated Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), allowing the structure to be disassembled or relocated if required. Our team coordinated with the client and design-build contractor to ensure an efficient and flexible design solution suitable for the live healthcare campus.
