The Lookout Dalkey project involves the delivery of 94 apartment units on Harbour Road in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.The development comprises a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, with 86 car parking spaces and 154 bicycle storage spaces provided. The design also incorporates private open spaces for residents.
The apartment complex consists of two 4-storey blocks with a 5th storey setback. The structure includes concrete fin walls with a flat slab for apartment floors and ground floor. The top-level penthouse uses steel frames, cold-formed purlins, and a green roof on a steel deck. Cantilever balconies are supported by steel beams connected to the slab edge. The superstructure is transferred using wide beams resting on reinforced concrete (RC) columns at the basement level.
All units hold an A2 or A3 Building Energy Rating and are constructed as NZEB complaint apartments. They feature exhaust air heat pumps and low flow water fittings. The Lookout participates in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark which holds a five-star rating for ongoing commitment to ESG transparency and improved performance.
