The Westwood House Student Accommodation development consists of 394 bedrooms arranged across 5 blocks, varying in height from 3 to 5 storeys. Ancillary facilities, including a café/restaurant on the ground floor of Block A, are part of the development. The project includes 24 car parking spaces and 140 cycle parking spaces. The development received planning permission through the Strategic Housing Development (SHD) system.

The buildings are constructed with reinforced concrete and precast columns. Additionally, modular bathroom pods were used to expedite construction. The parking area features permeable paving, and the site includes an attenuation tank designed to withstand a 100-year storm event.
