Project Handover Completed: Treasury Annex Building

Explore more about this project here.

We’re pleased to announce the successful handover of the Treasury Annex Building—a striking new addition to Dublin’s business district and a standout example of modern commercial design.

Located at the junction of Lower Grand Canal Street and Macken Street, the eight-storey Grade A office development sits adjacent to the iconic Treasury Building. It features a new entrance and seamless connectivity to the existing structure and an adjoining two-level basement car park.

CS Consulting was proud to deliver civil and structural engineering services on this complex city-centre project, contributing to a highly efficient and future-ready workplace. The construction features a robust mix of reinforced concrete (RC) columns, precast and RC walls, and post-tensioned slabs to accommodate expansive floor spans. A secant pile wall system, supported by ground anchors and props, facilitated the basement excavation. Structural stability is achieved through floor diaphragms connected to reinforced concrete core walls, with pad and strip foundations supporting the structure. At roof level, a steel-framed screen conceals the plant room.

Congratulations to Ronan Group and all project partners on delivering this exceptional development, which sets a new benchmark for office space in Dublin.
