  • This is a senior position with scope for progression to Company Associate for the right Candidate.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Traffic & Roads) with 10+ years’ experience to join our growing civil engineering team based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of traffic engineering, road design, and mobility planning assignments across public and private sector projects. This is a strategic hire, with a view to supporting team leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and shaping our growing transport capability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the design of roads and junctions, roundabouts, car parks, basement car park access, active travel infrastructure and mobility schemes from feasibility to construction.

    • Prepare and review Traffic and Transport Impact Assessments (TTA/TIA), Mobility Management Plans (MMPs), Travel Plans, etc. for planning applications and masterplans.

    • Engage with and advise directors, colleagues and clients on parking ratios, bicycle, electric vehicle, shared vehicle requirements for developments;

    • Manage client liaison, design team meetings, stakeholder engagement, and liaise with Local Authorities, TII, etc. on behalf of clients.

    • Oversee transport and junction modelling using industry tools (e.g. Picady, Arcady, Oscady and Transyt software, or similar)

    • Ensure all designs comply with relevant Irish standards, including TII Publications, DMURS, and NTA guidelines.

    • Prepare tender documentation, technical reports, and responses to planning conditions to secure compliance.

    • Supervise and mentor graduate and junior engineers.

    • Collaborate with civil and structural teams on integrated multidisciplinary projects.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Civil or Transportation Engineering.

    • Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI) or close to achieving chartership.

    • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, with at least 5 years in an Irish consultancy.

    • Strong working knowledge of local road and traffic design standards (TII, DMURS, NTA).

    • Experience with leading the design of roads and junctions through detailed design, tender and construction stages.

    • Proven ability to lead small to medium-sized design teams and deliver high-quality outputs on time and on budget.

    • Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D desirable) and traffic modelling packages such as Picady, Arcady, Oscady and Transyt software (or similar).

    • Full driving licence

The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of civil site infrastructure and drainage design assignments across public and private sector projects. This is a strategic hire, with a view to supporting team leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and shaping our growing civil engineering capability.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the design of civil site infrastructure and drainage design from feasibility to construction.

    • Prepare and review Engineering Services Reports, Flood Risk Assessment Reports, Drainage Modelling and Designs, SuDS strategies, etc. for planning applications and masterplans.

    • Engage with and advise directors, colleagues and clients on infrastructure, drainage, water and SuDS requirements for developments;

    • Manage client liaison, design team meetings, stakeholder engagement, and liaise with Local Authorities, Uisce Eireann, etc. on behalf of clients.

    • Oversee drainage modelling using industry tools (e.g. InfoDrainage or similar)

    • Ensure all designs comply with relevant Irish standards, including Uisce Eireann Publications, Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works and Local Authority guidelines.

    • Prepare tender documentation, technical reports, and responses to planning conditions to secure compliance.

    • Supervise and mentor graduate and junior engineers.

    • Collaborate with civil and structural teams on integrated multidisciplinary projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as Project Lead for a broad range of projects, delivering engineering services from feasibility to construction.

    • Engage with and advise directors, colleagues and clients on engineering requirements and solutions for developments;

    • Manage client/ client liaison, design team meetings, collaborate with contractors and sub-contractors, and manage stakeholder engagement.

    • Oversee the delivery of innovative and practical structural designs solutions.

    • Ensure all designs comply with relevant eurocodes, standards and best practice.

    • Prepare robust tender documentation, technical reports, etc. coordinating the internal team of engineers and technicians preparing the information.

    • Fulfil the role of Ancillary Certifier on projects where required and carry out inspections.

    • Supervise and mentor graduate and junior engineers.

    • Collaborate with civil and structural teams on integrated multidisciplinary projects.

    • Participate in the development of and improvement of Company procedures, policies and initiatives to drive high standards of quality.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Masters or Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Structural Engineering;

    • Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland / IStructE) or close to achieving chartership.

    • 10+ years experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of development projects (high-rise or low-rise residential experience desirable).

    • Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe;

    • Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem solving abilities;

    • Experience attending site and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable;

  • Role Overview

    We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years’ experience to join our growing civil engineering team based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of site infrastructure to support development, including water, drainage and road design. The ideal applicant for this role will be eager to develop their skills and progress to a Senior role within the organisation.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Design of SuDs features

    • Design of Foul and Watermain Systems to Uisce Eireann Code of Practice and Local Authority requirements

    • Design of roads to comply with TII legislation & DMURS

    • Prepare feasibility and planning stage reports including engineering services reports, flood risk assessments, etc. Develop responses to planning conditions to secure compliance.

    • Prepare tender and construction level designs and specifications.

    • Attend design team/ client meetings, participate in stakeholder engagement, and liaise with Local Authorities/ Statutory Bodies on behalf of clients.

    • 4+ years experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of development projects (high-rise or low-rise residential experience desirable).

    • Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe;

    • Aspiration to get Chartered with Engineers Ireland/ IStructE in the near future;

  • NOTE: This is an office-based role located in Dublin City Centre with option to be part-time (20-25 hours/ week), ideally 4-5 days per week, with flexibility in terms of working hours.

    We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources within our Dublin-based civil and structural engineering consultancy. This is a standalone role, responsible for both the strategic and day-to-day delivery of HR services across the company.

    Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the HR Manager will play a key part in supporting our people-focused culture and driving initiatives in performance management, learning and development, and the continued delivery of our Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer Programme.

    This position will suit a professional who enjoys working closely with management and staff at all levels, and who takes ownership of a broad range of HR responsibilities — from employee relations to talent development — in a collaborative and professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    General HR Management

    • Manage all day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law and internal policies.

    • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR matters, providing clear, practical, and confidential advice.

    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes, ensuring a positive employee experience.

    • Maintain HR records, contracts, and employee data with accuracy and discretion.

    • Support employee wellbeing, engagement, and communication initiatives.

    Performance Management

    • Manage and continuously improve the company’s Performance Management System, including annual reviews, development planning, and goal setting.

    • Support line managers in giving effective feedback and promoting continuous performance improvement.

    • Monitor performance trends and identify areas for employee development or succession planning.

    Learning & Development

    • Lead the Learning & Development function, ensuring staff at all levels have access to appropriate training opportunities.

    • Maintain and enhance our Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer status, coordinating CPD activities and records.

    • Develop and manage internal learning initiatives, mentoring, and skills-sharing programmes.

    • Collaborate with Directors and discipline leads to align learning activities with company objectives and project requirements.

    Strategic & Project Work

    • Contribute to HR strategy, policy development, and the continuous improvement of people management practices.

    • Support diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.

    • Prepare HR metrics and insights for management, including turnover, training participation, and performance trends.

    • Advise management on change management, workforce planning, and employee relations matters.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; CIPD qualification desirable.

    • Minimum 5 years’ HR generalist experience, ideally within a professional services, consultancy, or technical environment.

    • Sound knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.

    • Experience developing/ managing performance review systems and learning & development frameworks.

    • Proven ability to deliver practical, hands-on HR support in a dynamic, project-driven setting.

    • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a discreet and professional approach.

    • Excellent IT skills in MS Office programmes, job posting websites, practice management/ HR systems, etc.

    • Experience producing HR data driven reports is a plus.
